The Bonsall experience
Welcome back to the seventh year of Bonsall and District Film Society, Derbyshire, UK. A unique evening out at our own village cinema. Converted from the old function room at what was The Fountain Inn, cosy ambiance with the latest equipment and a 3m wide screen.

The Village Hall bar offers themed drinks and (sometimes) snacks for main programme films.
Ice creams are on sale in the cinema for all films.

You may be aware that the current venue of the Fountain clubroom is up for sale.  We will operate as normal for as long as possible in this venue and then, when necessary in the Village Hall. In order to make the Village Hall a viable venue for the screening of films we are sourcing funding to purchase raked seating.

Seventh season
For our seventh season we are screening a total of 11 films from around the world. There will be 6 main films on Friday evenings and 5 additional films on Saturday evenings.

We are happy to say that we are able once again to keep the cost at just £15 for the 6 main season films and offer a discount for members attending the additional films.

First film on Friday October 17^th 
The season kicks off on Friday 17^th October with a film from the main programme, Into the Wild, directed by Sean Penn.

Volunteers
All tasks are shared by a committee of volunteers and new volunteers are very welcome – please get in touch as we can always do with more help, whether you are a Tecchie or a bottlewasher.
